SEPTEMBER MOM OF THE MONTH - Dash Guevara-Pulido
This month we recognize DASH GUEVARA-PULIDO for her accomplishment and dedication to fitness, motherhood and life! Our Brea, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Linda FIT4MOM Team would like to say, "THANK YOU, DASH," for being part of our Stroller Strides family!"
Instructor, Angela Bridgford: "It has been such a pleasure getting to know this sweet mama. From the first time I met her, she was kind, open, and just lovely! Dash truly embodies the FIT4MOM spirit. She is a friend to all, a strong, healthy mama, setting a great example for her two kiddos, and has a passion for fitness! I am thrilled Dash decided to join FIT4MOM North OC. We are all blessed to know and love her!"
1. Who are the members of your family?
My husband Andrew, my daughter Marley who is 9, and my son Anderson who just turned 2.
2. What is or was your career?
I used to be a wholesale coordinator. I used to work for a high end wedding gown designer and worked with the wholesale side in Beverly Hills.
3. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM of North Orange County and what has it done for you?
I have been a member since March. It has changed me emotionally and physically. I get to socialize with other moms and I know most can relate to the feelings I have about motherhood. It has physically changed me because I really wanted to get fit and to push myself; the classes really do that for me and I can feel/see a difference.
4. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
How strong we can be to deal with so many things at once.
5. Favorite app(s) or website(s)?
Pinterest and Instagram.
6. List three current obsessions.
Working out, finding new easy recipes (I hate to cook), and my family.
7. What is your child's/children's favorite thing about you or favorite thing that you do?
My daughter likes that we cuddle and talk every night. My son loves it when I read his favorite book to him.
8. Any tips for other moms out there?
Believe in yourself and talk more about what your going through with other moms. Most moms are going through the same things or similar things and we can all lift one another. The more we share the better we feel :)
