Instructor, Natalie Duchene: "Krystal always has a smile on her face and is one of the most welcoming moms at our night classes. She is friendly and will talk to anyone in class. Krystal is also an inspiration as she works out in class doing everything we are doing from jumping jacks to burpees while pregnant. She is definitely one of the women that make our village so special!"
This month we recognize KRYSTAL RAMIREZ for her accomplishment and dedication to fitness, motherhood and life! Our Brea, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Linda FIT4MOM Team would like to say, "THANK YOU, KRYSTAL," for being part of our Stroller Strides family!"
1. Who are the members of your family?
The members of my family are myself, my husband, Lauro, my two children, Riley (5) and Caleb (3), and a baby due any day now.
2. What is or was your career?
I am currently a fifth grade teacher. I love teaching and being a mom.
3. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM of North Orange County and what has it done for you?
I have been a member of Stroller Strides since May of 2011. Stroller Strides and Body Back have been the most amazing things in my life. I am not sure what I would do with out the support of the moms and the chance to exercise. I took a year off and couldn't stand it, so I came back and it is one of the best decisions I have made. It makes me happy.
4. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
The thing that has surprised me the most about motherhood is just how incredibly exhausting it is. The energy of my boys is inspiring. It's exhausting just how fast they grow up. In a blink of an eye they are walking, talking, opinion having individuals. When did that happen?
5. Favorite website(s)?
My favorite websites are Facebook. I love keeping in contact with friends and family. I love Pinterest. There are so many cute ideas I will never have the time to accomplish, but it's fun looking anyway. I can't think of another one at the moment.
6. List three current obsessions.
I don't really have time for too many obsessions, but right now I love to work with succulents.
7. What is your child's/children's favorite thing about you or favorite thing that you do?
The boys love when we spend time together before bed and read their favorite books. They love getting a certain number of kisses before bed. The boys love being tickled and chased around the house. I love to hear them laugh and giggle.
8. Any tips for other moms out there?
Some of the biggest advice I was given was don't sweat the small stuff. You do what you need to to get by and survive the day. Everybody is struggling, some just hide it better than others.
