Instructor, Shelley Hernandez: "To know Julie is to love her! Julie is a great friend to so many of our moms! She is one incredible Mama! We are blessed to have her as a part of our village!"
This month we recognize JULIE BELLENDIR for her accomplishment and dedication to fitness, motherhood and life! Our Brea, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Linda FIT4MOM Team would like to say, "THANK YOU, JULIE," for being part of our Stroller Strides family!"

I am a nurse practitioner and treat children and adolescents with mental health illnesses.
3. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM of North Orange County and what has it done for you?
I have been a member since Jan 2016 and it is been the BEST organization I have ever joined. My family moved to Placentia in Aug 2015 and since I started stroller strides we have made some amazing, life long friends. I am so grateful to Shelley for telling me about FIT4MOM and encouraging me to join!
4. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
How tired I am :) But despite the tiredness my heart is so full of love for my son.
5. Favorite website(s)?
facebook, instagram, snap chat....I love looking at my friends (old & new) and families pictures and keeping in touch with everyone.
6. List three current obsessions.
Snickers bars, Landon, Sleep
7. What is your child's/children's favorite thing about you or favorite thing that you do?
If he could say our favorite thing we do, I think it would be being silly together. We will just laugh at being goofy, make funny faces and noises non-stop. It makes my heart so happy and I know he loves it.
8. Any tips for other moms out there?
Don't be afraid to ask for help! And other people are competent to help out with your baby! Looking back if I would have asked for help and not been so controlling/felt the need that I needed to do it all, it would have made the newborn period and the transition to going back to work so much easier. I know its never easy, but accepting help and letting go of that control would have made life a lot easier...and would have given me more naps! ;)
Being a mom is one of the hardest, but most special jobs in the whole world! So just remember you are doing a great job, keep loving up on your little ones, & soak in all these memories. Giving your little ones love and affection is one of the best skills for their future! <3
