This month we recognize COURTNEY VANDERLINDEN for her accomplishment and dedication to fitness, motherhood and life! Our Brea, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Linda Fit4Mom Team would like to say, "THANK YOU, COURTNEY," for being part of our Stroller Strides family!

1. Who are the members of your family?

Myself, my husband Loren, our daughter Brooklynn (18 months), and our chocolate labs Memphis & Missy (5)

2. What is or was your career?

Before I was a Mom I was an Assistant Golf Professional. I am hoping when B and my future kids are all in school maybe I can go back to doing that. Now I work part time for my Dad at our family's flooring & design center. I just recently became a fitness coach and motivator too. :)

3. How long have you been a member of Stroller Strides of North Orange County and what has it done for you?

Last month (Feb) was my 1 year anniversary of joining Stroller Strides. I wish I had found out about it sooner, but I am glad I found it when I did.

4. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?

I am much more confident in myself than before I was a Mom. I guess it's because I am raising another human being, and I feel like I don't need to take sh*t from anyone. :)

5. Favorite website(s)?

Pinterest, for sure, Yummly ( I love to find new recipes), and of course Facebook and Instagram.

6. List three current obsessions.

I am obsessed with the show The Walhburgers on A&E. It's silly, but I love me some Marky Mark.

7. What is your child's/children's favorite thing about you or favorite thing that you do?

Currently Brooklynn's favorite thing to do is to sit on my back or my husband's back while we do push-ups. She holds on tight and just giggles uncontrollably. She is also loving to stretch lately, so we do it every afternoon when Daddy gets home from work.

8. Any tips for other moms out there?

Don't be to hard on yourself. Being a mom and taking care of a child is so different for each and everyone of us. Follow your heart and try not to let other people influence you even though it's hard to tune them out. :)
